Despite a nearly full house, the staff managed very well. The timing of the courses was good; I enjoyed the Calamari, plus the Pannacotta is the best I’ve tasted, with silky smoothness contrasted with sweet rhubarb and some baked crumble garnish. And what a view,...accentuated by the lovely sunny day. A great day with friends.More

After not having had the best run with the local food (struggling to find things that hadn’t come out of a fryer) we had a wonderful lunch in a beautiful setting at Bangor. Olives warmed and made all the more tasty with a hit of...citrus, excellent bread with tasty pumpkin hummus and the most delicious slow cooked lamb and salad bowls hit the spot. The Pinot gris (me) and Pinot noir (him) were just right. The pacing was a little hasty but otherwise, outstanding.More

On a beautiful autumn day I visited this little hidden gem with my daughter and cousin for lunch. We did go there with a mission - to try the Captain Spotswood Pinor Noir, named after our great, great, great, great grandfather. Not only was the...wine delicious, the shared three meals were superb, and the views over the township of Dunalley wonderful. We also loved the cheeky mural on approach to the venue. Would highly recommend.More

In a small town called Dunalley there was a car stopped in the middle of the road letting an echidna cross. After this we headed over the moving bridge and onto Bangor Vineyard for Lunch. This vineyard had a beautiful view to look at over...a nice meal. The kids were able to stretch their legs and go for a run on the grass. There was also a cubby house and sandpit for the smaller child. The husband on the other hand was inside at the wine tasting with a big smile on his face. Everyone was happy!More

Goodness, what a highlight for lunch! Delicious food, and reasonably priced for the size of the plates (big serves, be aware!). We had share plates between three of us and we loved every single dish. And wonderful service, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!More

As locals we had heard of the renovation and the new menu so had to try it. The renovation is beautiful and love the new deck space the food on the other hand... I ordered the calamari and for $22 all I got was 8...pieces of frozen deep fried calamari on a "seasonal salad" of just green, very wilted soggy lettuce with lemon juice and salt. Our entree was brought out at the same time as the mains and was the roast pumpkin Hummus. The bread was stodgy and more like banana bread minus the banana. We asked for more bread but another 30mins later and still no sign of it. After enquiring we got told the "the kitchen must have forgotten about it" Certainly wasn't impressed and won't be eating here again.More

Check their website as I think the menu is listed. I would say contemporary Australian cuisine with a focus on Tasmanian produce
