We went for an impromptu dinner and was greeted quite friendly by the host. The waitress was attentive and polite. The food is very good, I had the daily special cod dish, and my husband a hamburger. The fish was delicious, but had to be returned because they didn't get my order right. It was better than the burger, which... More

I host a Meetup group (social club) called GTA West Friends for Fine Dining and Piano Bars. Eight of us met for dinner & jazz here last week, it was a wonderful experience we all wish to return. Sunday night avec entertainment was recommended by one of our members and we're all very happy. For the value, the prices are... More

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon at around quarter to one. There is a parking lot in front and some spots on the side of the restaurant. Also, a patio exists to the side of the building. Upon entering, we were greeted immediately by a waitress. Ushered to a table, we had a view of the entire restaurant. The bar... More

I try to get to this spot when I'm in town which is not too often, but I did get back there last night. They always have a few specials and oysters on the half shell and sea bass were included on the list this time around. I ordered both, along with a glass of white wine and absolutely enjoyed... A late birthday dinner with some great jazz music! A gem in the GTA. A return visit for us Nova Scotians. Love the food quality, great service and fine atmosphere.

Went to Lowville Bistro for New Year’s Eve and experienced a fabulous night from start to finish. We enjoyed an extravagant five-course meal complete with complementary New Year’s Eve bubbly and party favours to ring-in 2017. Music featured modern/classic Jazz with guitar, base and vocals that entertained for more than three hours! The management and staff were kind and attentive,... More

We ate at this elegant bistro in Lowville for dinner. We sat inside; but, the patio area looked very inviting as well. The atmosphere inside was lively (on a Saturday); the wait staff were all pleasant and attentive. The decor was romantic and cozy. The food was quite good. As a group, we had their thin crust pizza (a bit... More

I am sorry to hear that your visit was less than satisfactory. We pride ourselves on using fresh ingredients, so there is often times where our menu items will sell out. We provide daily features in addition to the main menu as well. Hopefully you will give us a try again. More

We love the Lowville Bistro, we live in Milton and it's only a a short 15 minute drive away and has parking. Lowville is a quaint little gem just across from Lowville park. If you haven't been it's a must try. We especially enjoy the live Jazz sessions with Sonia Collymore on Sunday's from 6-9pm. Sonia is a Juno award... More
