Even though Wollfy's is gone never fear because you can still visit Chris and Mary at Little Red's in St. Mary's. In true Woolf'y's tradition the food is fresh and deliciously prepared. The pub fare menu is complimented nicely with daily specials. Service if excellent!

Woolfy's at Wildwood was a "must-go-to" for many years. The owners have moved into downtown St. Mary's, and opened a more casual place, "Little Red's." Now IT is on our must-go-to list. They have some good pub-type dishes, but they still have a good selection of fine dining dishes that are worth the trip into St. Mary's. If you liked... More

I have enjoyed this restaurant for many years on visits to Ontario. We drove by last week, and found it gone. So sorry to see it has closed.

With a mix of sadness and glory of the memory, Woolfy's has closed. Chris Woolf tells me it was his best year on record but an offer he could not refuse appeared. Many people hope Chris' will re-open. Chris say naught; "Even time spent in the kitchen for one life." Some of mentioned to him the possibility of a bistro... More

Some family and friends and I were there this past Saturday afternoon for lunch. It was after I had raced my very first triathlon (in Lakeside) and I wanted to find an independent restaurant with delicious, local fare. I also wanted to find something close enough so that we weren't going too far out of our way (long-distance driving after... More

We recenlty made our second visit of the season to Woolfys. This restaurant is a little out of town from Stratford but it is worth the drive. The menu and wine selection are progressive without being over the top. A don't miss is the Sour Cream Icecream.

We returned to Woolfy's again because our meal last year was so good and we had a warm and pleasant set of conversations with the manager/wife/chef/owner. Although we did not see her this year, our experience was just as delightful. The restaurant is in a home that is beautifully maintained with lots of detail, yet it has the homey atmosphere... More

We wanted to try a new restaurant on a special occasion and were not disappointed. There is a warmth to its unpretentious atmosphere. The service was fine. Arriving, with a reservation, shortly after six we were seated promptly and immediately were asked if we had tickets to a performance in Stratford. We said no, but that indicated they would have... We had a very delicious meal here when seeing a couple of plays at the Stratford Festival. Local ingredients are used whenever possible and the owners really care about delivering a terrific experience. I'd definitely return.

Enthusiastically wanting to return to dine at woolfy's, drove 2.5hrs. My preferred choice for fish was listed on the cafe menu so we were asked to leave the dining room after being seated & drinking, to take a place in the back cafe room which is very unappealing & dingy! We left, not to return again, nor would we recommend... More
