Very nice cafe, tucked away from the Main Street. Small eating space, but offers a nice view of the water from the attached patio. Good quality coffee, fresh baked goodies, and a limited menu for more substantial eats. Will be stopping back again on my next trip through the area.

Disappointed to discover our favorite waterfront place was closed for the season - early - and the building for sale. Hope they're back next summer!

I live in the area and just visited yesterday. Pictou is a cute town and this place is very nice. Atmosphere is really good! You can eat on the waterfront. Fish and chios was great

Looking forward to a lovely fish lunch on the waterfront in Pictou. Sadly not to be had. My partner ordered pan fried haddock, was told it was fresh, never frozen. I ordered battered fish &chips. Both orders of fish we think were cooked yesterday and reheated today. The restaurant had just opened for the day at 12 noon. The battered... More

We ate there earlier this week. Our server was friendly was the best part of the meal. The food however was dried out fries, the chicken they use was i m sure processed and tough.Caesar salad was pretty much lettuce with an odd tasting sauce.Even food going to other tables didn t look impressive.13.99 for two pieces of fish and fries that would... Went out to supper with family. The meal was dried out, was told, for 24 dollars, they could not give more than two scallops as they were too expensive. Haddock was like eating paper. Must say the dessrt was fine. Server was pleasant but not completely knowledgeable about the drink menu.

I went with a large group of people.I got the fish and chips and honestly, they were gross.I felt bad, so I just didn't eat my food.I picked some dried out fish from the soggy batter and ate some of that. Fish was definitely old and batter was nasty. The dessert on the other hand....YUMMY. I got Blueberry grunt and... More

I don't write reviews very often but thought I should share this one. I just ate there a few minutes ago and got take out. My husband got a grilled chicken sandwich and fries and he said his was absolutely delicious but I went with an old standby... Fish and chips. The fish had a heavy batter on it. Soaked... More

The vegetarian entree was wonderful, lots of vegetables, large portion. Had been traveling throughout NS and had difficulty getting good vegetarian meals. This place satisfied that need, thank goodness. Salad was good too.

You go here for the ambiance and view. Kids menus, very family-friendly. Eat here every year and fish&chips weren't as good this year. Caesar salad isn't great. Nice cold draft beers.
