A friend just introduced me to this place. Had never noticed it before as it is tucked into a strip mall. After placing our order for chicken shawarma we were treated to small sample bowls of corn chowder or lentil soup. I tried the lentil soup and it was delicious. The shawarma was delicious as well with a strong garlic... More

This is a middle eastern restaurant hidden in a little strip mall on Robie St near Young St. The food is fresh, authentic and very tasty and at a very reasonable price. The service is friendly and informal. It is a favourite for many local businesses

As usual, Tarek greeted us with a small cup of soup, gratis. A good start. The chicken combo was fantastic, and more than enough for one. All delicious, but the tabouleh especially was first rate. Tarek gave us a taster of his hot pomegranate, lemon & bayleaf juice. Wow! Save me a seat, I'll be back next week!

We absolutely loved this spot! It was really tough to choose just two meals - the half and half plate (beef and chicken) and the chicken combo platter were both amazing. We probably could have split the combo platter - it was huge! All of the different salads and dishes were crammed onto one plate so you got a taste... More

The pita's here are the best I have ever had. My favourite is the chicken souvlaki pita. The service is second to none!

Although the felafel can be kind of tasteless it is the only made to order stuff around that I can find...and the consistency is spot on...prices are reasonable and Tarek should be the one opening an upscale mediterranean location

Love this spot - because I love garlic. Amazing food served up quickly with friendly atmosphere from Tarek himself! Chicken Shwarma that melts in your mouth. Bring your friends - you'll save on gum later.

The pasta literally melts in your mouth. Portions are healthy. I struggle to think of any dishes that I have been dissatisfied with.

Excellent value for what you get. Definitely not a double linen place, but the food makes up for the décor! Locate in an older, small strip mall and if you didn't know it was there, you'd miss it. Owners are lovely people, ingredients are fresh and tasty. Quick, over the counter service. I've given it 5 simply for the food,... More

A couple weeks ago, I took my wife and kids to the Lebanese festival in Halifax, where the kids had their first ever shwarmas. Though they all liked them, they weren't really crazy about them, and neither my wife nor I were very impressed. They were dry and short on flavour, but to be fair, there were a lot of... More
