Picture a table of a bunch of women, some of whom have food allergies and intolerances. Enter Lee!! Just when I thought my friend and I were going to have to watch our friends enjoy a meal, Lee made some quick checks and catered some suggestions to our needs. We were very pleased. The food was great but the service... More

We had an early booking at the spa so we decided to have breakfast at the Harbourstone before going there. Menu choices were excellent, we both had omelettes and they were delicious. My spouse has celiac, so she couldn't have the hash browns that came with the omelette. The server offered tomato slices instead, we asked if she could have... More

Thank you for taking the time to share feedback on your recent dining experience with us. I am happy to hear you both enjoyed your Omelettes before a relaxing morning at the Spa. My apologies that your server did not inform you of the additional charge for the menu substitution. Please feel free to reach out to me via email... More

We have enjoyed breakfast and dinner while staying in the hotel. As it is throughout the hotel, service is excellent and always comes with a friendly smile and attitude. You really get the feel that the employees enjoy working here. We opted to enjoy dinner at the bar and we were not disappointed. The fish was fresh and my wife... More

Let's start by saying this. The days of hotels thinking it is ok to charge $17 for a basic bacon and eggs breakfast are over. This isn't room service nor is the meal any better than the greasy spoon around the corner with the $4.99 big breakfast! The atmosphere is nice and the trendy, modernist look is appealing. We've eaten... More

We've eaten here on our last three vacations in Halifax and are always pleasantly surprised with our meals! For a downtown restaurant, the prices are reasonable and the food is very very good! We keep returning, and will continue to do so! Definately recommend this place (we like the hotel too!).

We had a late lunch here after arriving from the airport. The font desk told us they had the best lobster rolls in Halifax.....and we were disappointed. The food was average. Presentation was very nice and our service was excellent....timely, friendly and fun. But the food was average.

My wife and l both ordered the seedling salads; I requested shrimp on top , my wife scallops. A scant 3 scallops and 3 shrimp were provided for these $ 19 salads in this land of seafood plenty! A greater disappointment was that our friendly server completely forgot the order we placed as soon as we were greeted for hot... More

We are a 70 year young couple who had lunch at the Harbourstone last weeek. An online article about Halifax and lobster rolls said they had the best. Our two week vacation in Nov Scotia from Arizona was coming to an end. It seemed the perfect lunch for our final day. We were not disappointed. We shared a lobster roll... More

From the website photos, this restaurant looked like a restaurant in a hotel, as opposed to a hotel restaurant. It is, however, definitely a hotel restaurant. While the food was good, the restaurant had a sports bar/food court feel to it. It is open to the hotel foyer, large televisions all around the restaurant, loud music, and sounds from the... More
