Stopped in for a couple of pints on a Sunday afternoon, and enjoyed the company of other visitors and a very knowledgable bartender regarding local beer. I also had a couple of appetizers which came out of the kitchen, promptly and fresh from the grill.

We had dinner at The Celtic Hearth which is associated with and a physical part of Bridie Molloy's. Try the Jiggs Pie; it is fantastic. It is a savoury menu item that The Newfoundlanders are known for.

By looks of it everyone heads here once the bars close down as there are not many other options. Basic pub food but pricey, club sandwich was ok but watching riff raff was better.

Good music non existent staff no service Spent 25 minutes listening to good music Only recognition from staff ( and it was not busy) was waitress that whizzed by and yelled "How are you doing? Even if this was a 'go up to the bar to get your drinks' place no one indicated that. Not impressed

Nothing out of the ordinary, but if you are looking for traditional music, good beer, decent food and friendly door/bar staff on George Street, then you should give Bridie's a try.

We were there for dinner, and it was very quiet, which we found rather strange as we had tried to get into the Yellowbelly Brewery and there was a one hour wait. We were glad though, because Bridie Molloy's was great. I had the mac and cheese and it was very good, and the ambiance was just what you'd want... More

Came here for lunch with a friend and enjoyed their French Onion Soup. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. Decor is typical pub decor but interesting. Menu had a lot of different choices including all the usual pub food for Newfoundland.

We were looking for a fun night out that would include seafood and this was a great stop. There was a balladeer playing guitar and a few couples started dancing and singing along.

We stopped by to hear some music and there was a guy on guitar playing. I had scallops with bacon- sort of overcooked. The problem is they only have one lady taking care of everyone on that level of the restaurant so she was rather harried.

Thank kpter
