I went here for lunch with high hopes as I noticed alot of great reviews. When I walked in the door I was kind of taken back by how dingy the place is. So I put that aside and we spoke with the nice waitreas regarding meal options. They did not have many combos to choose from. We decided upon... More

I went to Sense of Tokyo for the first time for my Birthday, and was back less than a week later. I know I will be frequenting this place many times a month. I highly, highly, recommend the Bento box. The chicken teriyaki Bento is a nice option. The california rolls are so delicious, as well I highly recommend the... More

I was travelling for work and decided to give this location a try. Their lunch menu didn't have much choices in sushi meals so I decided to pick a roll from the large roll category thinking it should be enough for my lunch. I chose the Atlantic roll for $15. I couldn't believe what came to my table, an above... More

In the past I would have given this restaurant a wonderful review on both food and service however, the the last two times I've been there the service has been beyond disappointing. We went as a group of five for lunch today. The waitress was not exactly friendly and she appeared to be rushing although there were only a few... More

Sense of Tokyo is my fave sushi spot in the Maritimes, not just SJ. I love the cozy atmosphere and attentive service. It can be slower during the dinner rush, but you shouldn't be in a hurry to leave here. The food is always well prepared and they offer a variety of non-sushi dishes to satisfy less adventurous palettes. They... More

I trust this place to make my sushi right! The service is always friendly though I do find it a little on the pricey side, though for saint john it's not too bad.

Out first time back in a while. The menu has expanded and I found it difficult to sort out. The waiter and waitress seemed to be unsure which one looked after us. The sushi was well presented and really fresh and there is a wall screen showing various dishes, waiter even had an I pad for show and tell. I... More

We had some really good sushi here. The waiter was unable to answer some simple questions we asked, but the food was really good. Except for the salad with the ginger dressing just did not taste right...
