This restaurant wasn't our original first choice but turned out to be worth the stop. The French Onion Soup was great and entrees were tasty

On a sunny day, you get a great view of the Museum and the Provencher bridge from a window table. Service was good. Coffee hot and decent. The eggs Benedict were quite tasty with spinach added. It is possible to substitute sliced tomatoes or fresh fruit for the usual hash browns. The baked Mediterranean eggs were served in a small... More

We had great service and the atmosphere was terrific. The place was pretty busy so I was glad we had a reservation. The food was delicious and we would definitely return for another wonderful evening.

Hello Trippies I normally frequent the Promenade for lunch. This restaurant serves up a great lunch menu for a reasonable price. I tried dinner for the first time today at the Promenade. Wow... not only do the prices skyrocket for dinner but the food also isn't nearly as good. We tried the beef bourguignon and steak dinner. My steak was... More

Made reservations and asked for a seat with a view. I got the best seat in the house with the most amazing server. She was so helpful and pleasant, engaging and funny. Great recommendations. The food was so delicious; I had tourtière and my partner had the 100 mile chicken. Both were crazy good and well presented. She welcomed and... More

Had a great lunch here with husband and kids. We tried the classics...toutiere, beef Bourginion, and poutine. All three were delicious! The salad that came with the entree was delicious too...dark greens and a wonderful vinaigrette. The service was great and the view to the Red River and the bridge was awesome. We would definitely eat here again. If you... More

This was my second visit with a group of students and it was a good experience. Our server was fantastic -- friendly and efficient. We were in and out in 90 minutes, eating a 3-course meal! The cafe is along the Red River so is at a great location. We love the poutine and quiche!

Thank you very much for the wonderful review. We enjoy serving groups of students and have our servers speak conversational French to them. We look forward to your next visit! More

We really enjoyed our supper. The food was good and the service efficient and pleasant. It was a Wednesday evening so very quiet.

Went here on a whim with a friend, knowing that I liked the mashed potatoes they serve at Festival. They had a prix fixe menu that my companion and I both tried. All of it was delicious. The roasted caesar salad had been roasted to sweetness. The boeuf bourguignon was tender with the complex flavours of a slow stew. Absolutely... More

We love serving our French comfort food in our restaurant for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. We are lucky to serve our food in two of the tents at Festival du Voyageur. Such a great community event in February! He Ho! More

Went for lunch with a group of travelers from the US. French onion soup was superb and traditional. The bison tourtiere which is basically a bison and pork meat pie served with gravy, salad and mash was exceptional. Would definitely go back. Traditional French bistro menu.

We source our Bison from a local Manitoba farm as well as the Pork. Local home made food always is great. More
