Our friends encouraged us to join them for dinner at Bistro Dansk and we did. The menu is limited to everything schnitzel: pork & chicken. It's divine! And the dinner is complemented by very rich O'Brien potatoes and a cabbage or vegetable choice. The meal...More

The food is rich, delicious, and impeccably prepared. While the menu isn't particularly varied (you want the schnitzel), everything is delicious. The portions are enormous, so you will not go away hungry (lunch is a bit smaller, for a bit less money, but still ample)....More

This is a great little restaurant with good food and friendly service. The amount of food you receive on your plate, I should say platter, is more than enough for 2 meals. Over half of the 12 people I was with took left overs home....More

This place is a complete Hit or Miss depending on who is serving you. The food is always good for what it is, home cooked, fried meals. The service on the other hand can range from dreadful to awesome. Depending on what night you go,...More

My husband and I made reservations ahead of time as the last time we tried to eat here it was packed. The venue is small which lended itself to a very quant atmosphere. The biggest negative was cleanliness, the rug needed a good vacuum and...More

I had never been to Bistro Dansk before, but I went with family that had been, and it came highly recommended. I had the Dansk (pork) Schnitzel, with their famous sweet & sour cabbage. I can honestly say that it was one of the best...More

Our first visit was one to remember. Huge portions of home cooking that beats the Big City (toronto) Chicken Schnitzel beats any we've had in Canada. Huge portion to satisfy any appetite. Family friendly atmosphere - and prices to match any budget. We so enjoyed...More

Hello Minnesota! Yes, Bistro Dansk makes their sauerkraut on site from scratch. They do not speak German. They are Czechoslovakian. I suspect from their heavy accents they speak Czechoslovakian!
