My wife and I were looking for a really nice place to eat and celebrate our engagement anniversary, and read positive reviews online about Rim Rock and decided to book. In short, this was one of the best meals and dining experiences we've ever had. We choose the new Monday evening 4 course meal for $49+tax. The portions were generous... More

Perfect food, perfect service. The only problem with this place is I was too full to eat more. Calamari was best I ever had.

Rim Rock is one of the best dining experiences in Whistler. The views aren't much but the quality of the food, the originality of the menu and the service make it well worth the trip. The soups are excellent.

We wanted to eat at one of Chef Ramsey's restaurants, so we thought how perfect it would be to eat at Rimrock. Our dinner was presented beautifully and very tasty. However, I could not give Rimrock the top rating because i feel that the food could have been a little bit warmer. I like my food to be served very... More

As a food and drink critic, the following was noted for this restaurant. - Food: 9 out of 10. - Drinks: 8 out of 10. - Wine: Good selection of wines. Slightly disappointed that there was not many local wines on the list other than the Okanagan. - Desert: 7 out of 10. Will visit again in the Winter of... More

Our evenining celebrating a birthday at the Rim Rock Cafe was by far the tastiest and most enjoyable meal I have ever had in Canada. It is easy to see why this is one of the highest rated restaurants in Canada. As you enter, the decor is classic Alpine and the background music is subtle and inviting. We were shown... More

Our friends suggested we do Rim Rock after our day cycling the Whistler Granfondo. Yes we deserved a treat, but frankly ... Rim Rock will be our first choice in Whistler whenever we come back, and not as a "treat" but because it is that darn good. Our server Paula was excellent. Excellent wine choices available for all budgets. Menu... More

We just had a wonderful meal at Rim Rock. The atmosphere is quiet and lovely. We had the heirloom tomato salad, which was above and beyond with feta, olives, asparagus and a great vinaigrette. The ceviche was outstanding, as were both of the entrees we had- the rare tuna with a great duet of sauces on the plate along with... More

This was the third place in Whistler we tried without a reservation. We were lucky to get the last available table - and probably lucky that the other two places were fully booked! We shared a Seafood Antipasto (that would have been too big for one person) and then both had a Sashimi Grade Tuna with a variety of vegetables.... More

We had read some reviews that were critical of the service but from reservations to calling for a cab it was all excellent. The staff were happy to let us have a long dinner enjoying the different courses. Loved the dessert sampler, the best way to go! Thanks to the Rim Rock

In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.
