Excellent eggs benedict, owner served me and was very friendly! Nice decor with a comfortable "home like atmosphere".

We went in about 2 p.m. after the Parliament tour and it was crowded with elders, like us. A lovely waitress, perhaps the owner, was the only staff on hand. She brought me plenty of lemon for a big pot of 'house' tea. My husband...More

Perhaps I'm spoiled by afternoon teas at a variety of places in Britain, but it was hard to get excited about this one. Tea in Victoria is a long held tradition, but my family couldn't bring ourselves to pay the exorbitant prices at the Empress,...More

Not only the authentic coronation tea room ambiance, but the quality of the dishes and the excellent service seem from a bygone era. Best scones this side of the Avon. And there's an Italian waitress working there who's a total bombshell. I think she's from...More

If you're a lover of Quiche, THEN MAKE SURE YOU DON'T ORDER THEIR VERSION!! Over the years we've called in at this supposedly "quaint" (debatable) tearoom, and after yesterday's experience it reminds me that we always come away with the same decision..... to not ever...More

This dining experience was average at best and honesty a letdown. The French toast was tasty and not a bad value but that's where the positive reviews end. The omelette was overpriced and bland, and the server seemed intent on making unsolicited suggestions during my...More

Lovely little place hiding in the city of Victoria. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The tea was delicious - in a big pot with tea cosy. The decor is definitively Royalist! The afternoon teas looked amazing, but we only had the scones and...More

In a place like Victoria, named after England's long-serving queen (64 years, since surpassed by the current queen, Elizabeth (65 years and still chugging along), it should be no surprise to bump into a restaurant with a decidedly British flavor. But we found this one,...More

The cost is about $30 for a pot of tea and the 'Daily Tea'. This includes a two layer plate of sandwiches, baked items and fruit. I will post a picture of it on Trip Advisor.
