SO I've been to a brasserie or two in my 38 years and this is exactly the experience I want every time. We had a big brunch about 8 hours earlier, but had walked over every last inch of Victoria on a 24 hour hour...More

Great service, great selection and of course great food. I didn't find $17 too much to ask for an appetizer bowl of our local Salt Spring Island Moules...very reasonable. Good portions. I had the trout and it was killer.

Small and dark restaurant, service is good, menu is expensive, we were expecting it to be but quite frankly you get very little for what you pay, for example a $38 steak comes with nothing but the steak and a small bowl of chewy overdone...More

We ate here for a special night out and found the service and food to be excellent as before. We hadn't been here for dinner over for awhile and decided to go again and see if was as good as before and we weren't disappointed....More

What fun! Lined up as per the tradition for this no reservations establishment, and truly was not disappointed. Food, service and pricing were all excellent! As was the white burgundy wine!! Don't pass up an opportunity to eat here, we'll worth the wait.

Everything was excellent here. From salad, French onion soup, muddled, steak (porterhouse and sirloin), truffle and Parmesan frites. Too full for dessert. Definitely a favourite for locals as watched numerous regulars come in and out and they were clearly recognized. Steak is not on their...More

Since discovering this restaurant less than a month ago we've been here three times. It is officially our new downtown favourite. The service is impeccable. The food is Devine. We can't stop ordering the steak and hamburger and endive salad. Our neighbour had a pork...More

Victorians tend to LOVE to line up for food. It's like a religion here: The longer the line, the better the food must be, right? I do not subscribe to this belief system. If I'm to pay for my food I don't line up for...More
