This is a big pub. Lots of space and it gets busy, which gives it an atmosphere. Live music a plus. Food really good.

Just came in in a lunchtime and plenty of room as such a large place but still quite busy. Food was excellent and good price and service was exceptional.

4 for drinks on a Thursday night. We were thrilled to find live music with a full band. They played a variety of music and we enjoyed them very much. We were going back the next night but did not make it. The place is...More

I wandered into the Bard & Banker for a drink on a Friday night and it was a busy, happening spot. There was live music and dancing. People were having a good 'ol time.

Fun busy place for a beer or a meal. This is a beautiful building that was constructed as a bank and totally gutted and turned into an eatery in the style of the original building. Fabulous. Food was very good and was the service.

We have had our first Cider and Guiness in this stylish old furnished pub. A lot of pretty waitresses are running around.

My wife and I flew in from Vancouver and stopped in for breakfast. Wonderful eggs, atmosphere, staff and what a cool building. We will definitely stop again next time we're in the area.

The food was good, the bar is nicely decorated but oh my god the service was pretty avarage.... The server just looked bored and not at all pleased to be there, apart from that, not a bad place to eat....

Bumped into this restaurant while killing time on a rain day and popped in for breakfast. The interior is beautiful and there are "secret" alcoves and tables everywhere, making it many tables feel very private and cozy. Could be a nice spot for a romantic...More

Good times abound here with a large food and beverage selection. We went in a couple of evenings during our last trip to Vancouver Island. The employees were always happy to share some of their favorite spots in Victoria; local knowledge is always a plus....More

When we were there in May we were seated quickly with no reservation. Not sure this time of year?

It is a pretty big place. Lots of tables upstairs too. Probably depends what time you want to go and how many. We just walked in and had a pick of tables around 7pm.

I don't know as I have never gone there anytime around lunch. You will have to call the staff and ask. I only occasionally go there with friends at night on some weekends. The company owns the Bard and Banker, Irish Times... More
