We were looking for a sweet treat to conclude our day. It was 5:30 pm but they still had a few cookies left. We chose lavender shortbread, pumpkin spice, trail mix oatmeal and chocolate . All cookies were flavourful. Service was excellent .

We want a light breakfast and we found it! A quick internet search turned up a bakery Gem in Victoria. Wood ovens, organic ingredients and good service. I wanted to try on of each item in the display case. Good coffee as well.

My favorite bakery on the planet. A staple and a blessing. A cornerstone in slow, whole, organic food. Never had a better loaf of bread - the seeded rye and apricot anise are my favorites, but they are all exceptional - and have walked every street in Paris and never had a better pain au chocolat. Have ordered many of... More

A small wood fired bakery (obviously) - passed by several times on way to Crystal pool before stopping in for lunch. Always busy with what appears to be many local customers dropping in for lunch to eat in or take out. Good variety of breads and snacks, sandwiches and soups are main lunch courses. Small interior with a 1/2 dozen... More

Comparing with Europe (specially France, Germany, Austria and so on), many Canadian bakeries are lacking the finesse, the flavour and lightness of their breads. Often small independent bakeries are your best option if you crave some more refined products. This one is a good choice, although I personally find some of baguettes and buns too hard, a bit chewy. But... More

This is such a quaint and charming little bakery in the middle of the city. We loved having our lunch and breakfast next day over there. Great vegan and vegetarian options with great baked goods. Loved it. Will go again if we ever visit Victoria again.

I went in to see if they had any vegan options and was surprised to see they had quite a few! The lady at the front cash was extremely inviting, friendly, and helpful. I ended up getting every vegan item in the showcase because it all looked so good, and with the prices you can't go wrong. Delicious breads too.... More

Red Fyfe and Island wheat breads are simply superb. They make me smile and they I get excited to go there and get a new loaf. I have tried many things at this bakery and they are all good. Friendly staff too! Love the place!

if not THE best. They use natural leaven, organic flour, and I've never had a bread here I didn't love.

We found this bakery by accident but fell in love right away. The bread is superb and the atmosphere is great. The staff know their products and there seemed to be a steady stream of satisfied customers moving through the shop. We went back a couple of times to pick up various breads while we were staying in Victoria and... More
