My wife and I recently moved from Toronto to Victoria. I had lived here over 20 years ago and recalled that this pub was very good. I must say the pub is very clean, the staff is amazing and the ambiance is spectacular. We only...More

Pub, beer, burger - the classic combo. Unfortunately the Fernwood has no idea what a good hamburger should look like or taste. Last night's burger was served on a dry (stale) bun with a commercial meat patty (ie not prepared in house), and sparse condiments....More
Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We never like to hear stuff like this and we certainly didn't think you should have paid for a meal that you'd didn't enjoy. Too bad you didn't bring this up with your server or manager...More

The Fernwood Inn is the custodian of a fine evening, whatever type of hype you're looking for. Be it pub or bistro, gastro-pub if you will. The place is well layed out so that each crowd is covered. Drinks are as various as can be,...More
