We rented out the Jaegerstube for my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary. It was made super simple for us, so we could walk in like any guest. They set up all the tables as we asked and decorated them with nice linen tablecloths etc. my sister brought some special decorations in, and it was no problem to set that up either.... More

We have purchased 6 tickets for new year’s party that was held in the Alpen club house. Each ticket cost us $87 which is a Total of $522. The evening was an open buffet and tables were called randomly to go to the buffet to pick up some food. Our Table was called last among all the tables and we... More

The food is very good. The rouladen is excellent, schnitzel is very good with the mushroom sauce. The beer that they bring in from Germany is excellent. I am not sure were else in Vancouver you can have a Radler except here. Need to try the goulash soup to start, that is my favourite. Try the pork hauk if you... More

Food was cold and poor quality. This used to be an excellent restaurant. No more. The food looked like it had been prepared without care and of poor quality ingredients. Was embarrassed to have recommended it to my friends.

I went there twice recently, both times were good. I had pork hocks on special (Thursday) and it was very good. Beer is also good. However, I wish they standardize on half liter per beer, as some of them are 0.4 L and some 0.5 L. Price is a bit misleading, then. European pubs usually have 0.5 L per beer.... More

Five of us dined on a busy Saturday night in October. Only one complaint - slow service. The rest was excellent. Polite young German waiter (second day on the job), good beer at a good price, authentic food, huge portions and very affordable. All five of us would return.

I took my 85 year old father here for lunch today. The restaurant was busy as they had a large group with reservations. There were two servers who were both working hard but, swamped with the amount of customers. Our initial service was as expected but, to see a waitress again you had to go and locate her due to... We usually go once a year for the food and the live music which is always nice to enjoy with a group of friends. If you enjoy traditional Bavarian costumes and delicious German beer 🍻 this is the place to be. Octoberfest Presentations include authentic German cuisine , music and costumes. Fun for the whole family!
