My husband found this restaurant through Trip Advisor and extremely thankful we did! We can honestly say that this restaurant and experience was one of our favorites out of our whole trip. Every single person in there was super friendly and helpful and not to...More

Great little place, look for the upside down salt shaker as it's located in an alley so not easy to spot. Great premise, enjoyable meal. The menu is hard to navigate as only on wall in chalk with no explanations of what types of meat...More

The tasting menu was great and the wine selection was good too. The location was a bit sketchy to be honest - I wouldn't have been keen to try to find it in the dark.

7 years ago the restaurant started it was certainly good, but today the opposite - maybe the owner has changed. The wines cheap and quality bad and the sausage and cheese specialties - at home in the fridge most of the guests probably have a...More

We came to Salt as part of a girls weekend in Vancouver. Salt offers a meat plate, a cheese plate, or a combination of the two, along with a selection of condiments. You can also select flights of wine or mead to be paired. The...More

Almost literally a 'hole in the wall' -- down a downtown Vancouver alley, quite hidden from view (could really do with a better sign; I had a guide or I would not have seen it). Should be busier because the concept is great -- you...More

I've been here 3 and now 4 times over the past 5 years and was impressed the first three times but now, not so impressed. The wine selection, white or red, was about 98% BC and because I live in BC and have been to...More

What wineries are in Old Town?

I am not sure what wineries have tasting rooms in Vancouver, if any. Many restaurants in Vancouver do carry BC wines though and they offer many by the glass so you can try them before committing.
