I am not Ethiopian, but the warm welcome and family environment makes me feel at home. The food tastes freshly done at home, not food you eat at a restaurant. My favourite restaurant in all of Vancouver, for sure.

This humble and unpretentious eatery embodies the same qualities as my favourite hole-in-the-wall spots: welcoming, filled with character, serving delicious dishes made with care. I can't say how authentic the food is since I've never been to east Africa, but I have been to several...More

We went to this place after reading everyone else's review about the place. We came right after we just trekked up Grouse Mountain. So we were starving. The decor consists of artistic figurines and photos of people from the home country which were great. We...More

The food here is really good and it comes in large portions. If you've never had Ethiopian before, it's typically served on large platters with a flatbread. The whole dining experience is quite communal, which makes it even more fun if you're with a group...More
