I have been told that sushis in Vancouver were awesome as seafood there was super fresh. We asked a few friends and decided to go to this place. We saw a long long queue but let me assure you this is definitely worth the waiting. I didn't realise I was full as all the sushis were just so great. Must... More

Past reviews were spot on! Talk about variety this place rocked with it. Got there 1145am and were promptly seated. Ordered the dynamite roll, a vegetable sushi set and a standard sushi lunch set. Ordered to much as the portions were larger than expected and quite filling but oh sooo good! Service was quick to and the prices were just... More

Oh my goodness. This little gem is amazing! Sashimi is super fresh and so affordable. It is literally my new favorite. It is top-notch sashimi grade but at super affordable prices.

This small, quirky restaurant seated three of us immediately (5.30pm on a Thursday) and gave us an extensive menu to peruse. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and the service was really good. The food itself was excellent, truly excellent, and the prices very reasonable for the quality. I have no doubt that we shall be back ... one day,... More

This small sushi bar located in a nice shopping area has both great food and great service. The food is cheap and everything comes in pretty big portions. The service is very fast, and you will probably get your food within 10 minutes. A negative point is that the opening hours are very confusing and short. There are limited seats... More

We have been to this sushi bar a few times and it never disappoints. Be prepared to wait or either go very early.

High quality product, great price compared to south of the border, and pleasant efficient service even during a busy lunch time. No trouble getting a counter seat. All prepared with fine technique-notable choice is the signature aji. Nigiri, rolls and sashimi equally well done. Despite what others have noted, $$ is correct positioning for this fine little place. Will come... More

Arrived early, as recommended. Sat at the bar. Ordered an array of nigiri, hand rolls, and fresh octopus. The black cod was the crown jewel. Will be back!

Staying in Kerrisdale

Neighbourhood Profile
Kerrisdale is Vancouver's laid-back shopping district. In contrast to Robson Street, there is more on offer, at more competitive pricing and a slower pace. Called "The Village" colloquially, over 200 storefronts and one-off shops crowd its streets with products and services. It is set in a comparatively sleepy part of town, with tasteful homes and tree-lined walks. Many of its buildings are listed on the Heritage registry, making it a wonderful place to amble and take in the visual history. Moreover, Kerrisdale's healthy consumer culture is especially apt for those interested in culinary, specialty, or children's shops, boasting more of these than anywhere else, meaning that it's a busy spot for families and hobbyists on the weekends.
