Adesso was disappointing to say the least. Firstly, the odd smell upon entering (like cat litter) was an immediate turn off, and the food was mediocre (salmon ravioli was very salty). The only plus was the service, which was attentive and friendly. Would I revisit?...More

The Adesso is located on a quiet residential street with no other commercial establishments. Do not let this deter you. The food was terrific as was the service and reasonably priced. Very laid back, excellent food, highly recommend!

We were lucky to get a nice table at the outdoor courtyard as the place was quite busy. The food was very good but a little expensive. The service very friendly but slow, probablly they were short on staff. Worth to try again.

On the advice of an out of town friend who raved about the food, we decided to give this spot a try. We were able to secure a table outside on the patio on a beautiful summer evening. The inside was quite a bit more...More

My husband made a reservation for a party of 16 out on the patio and wanted it to be an amazing evening for my party. Amazing doesn't even describe our evening. Of course, Adesso ordered perfect patio weather which definitely set the tone for a...More

Went for a stroll and happened on Adesso Restaurant. Nestled on a quiet, tree lined street, the patio calls to you. This place reminds me of New York, a bistro among old apartments. Interesting drink specials, and a appealing menu. We shared dishes Meat and...More

We stayed next door at the Buchan hotel and since we arrived quite late our first night in Vancouver and needed something closeby, we just went Adesso for convenience. We were pleasantly surprised, however, because the food was truly great! I had the cauliflower risotto...More

Went there last week with my partner for a date night. We were able to make a reservation on the patio. That was great. Food, unfortunately took very long. Mussels weren't that tasty. Tasted almost old. The antipasti board was delicious. Main nothing special and...More

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with

perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset

Yes. The servers (we've always had Gavin) are very attentive to little ones, and we always ordered a small custom pasta with broccolini, parmesan and butter - children are welcome.
