We were out walking to find a place to eat and find this at the edge of Gastown. We were quickly seated even though the restaurant was busy. There is a good selection of craft beers and the server was very good at guiding us through the selections. The beer of choice had a pleasant citrus base. The menu was typical pub... More

Good food, reasonable prices, good service, friendly staff all contained within a pub atmosphere. Very good menu to select from fancy salads to giant hamburgers or expensive steaks. Overall a very nice way to spend a lunch hour.

This place was so neat. The energy here was hoppin on a Saturday night. The food was great, we had pizza and wings. I wish had some place like this to eat/hangout back at home. Downstairs is a more bar-like atmosphere with pool tables. It is a little pricey, but the place does have waterfront views. Overall I would love... More

Amazed by how large the restaurant was! Had a great meal but pricey. Korean BBQ pizza, Brewhouse burger, Pulled Pork sandwich...it was all good! Disappointed with the IPA (only had one on tap).

Great food, great beers, great service all served up in a great atmosphere with a spectacular view and location in Gastown. This is a pub atmosphere at it's best, with all the noise and people to go with it. The wait staff are fun. Food selection is varied - but great pub food. This is a place to let loose... More

Busy place, simple food good beer. There was a lot of noise - "athmosphere". Would suit a young crowd out for a not too expensive meal.

Stopped in here on my first night in town because it looked like the most happenin' place on the block. The fish tacos were solid and the poutine was... well poutine. The IPA I had was excellent however, and I ended up regretting not taking a growler of it home with me. Definitely a better stop for after dinner brews... More

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
