I had this grilled bread, mushrooms, then goats cheese and figs. I’m not doing it the credit it deserves with that description. Seriously some of the best food I’ve had in a very long time. I was speechless. Still am.

I’m not a foodie wine snob but I have to say the food, the wine choices, and especially the staff made it a great evening. Having got to the point that I’m tired of all the boiler plate restaurants Acorn is a pleasant relief

For a few years now, my wife and I have come to the Acorn for special occasions. The food is consistently great and inspiring. The chefs bring an attention to detail and intention to their cooking that is hard to match in Vancouver and elsewhere....Last night, we tried Acorn's tasting menu. OMG, that was amazing!! My wife is a great cook (I"m okay) so we love going to restaurants where the experience is better anything we can make at home. The courses were simple in ingredients yet complex in their creations. Incredibly thoughtful, delicious offerings that were unlike anything else one might find. Kudos to the Acorn for showing that you don't need meat to have a phenomenal meal.More

For a person who is a meat lover when Acorn ( a truly vegan) was suggested we visit I was skeptical to say the least. Why would anyone in their right mind pay these exorbitant prices for vegan food? And then against my better judgment...I decided to give it a try and I will be the first to admit I was wrong in my assumption. It was the BEST VEGAN MEAL and now my expectations are set high. Don't ever think any other restaurant will even come close to Acorn. Every dish was flavorful and believe not once did I miss the meat. How can vegan taste so FANTASTIC blows my mind. I humbly request anyone reading this review please go out there and give it a try. Yes, its not cheap but the experience is well worth it. Our server and Manager Yannick was one of the best there is. Very knowledgeable, and personable made our evening one to remember. The chef Devin came to meet us at our table and he was such an amicable and humble individual. Wish I could afford to hire him as my personal chef. All in all an evening to always cherish and remember.More

My friend and I went to Acorn about a week ago and we had the Dineout menu. The restaurant was great at following all the covid guidelines for restaurants. Food was beautifully presented and the flavours were good. Service was average, except one server who...apologized because one of the dishes was not very warm. My issue with this restaurant had I known before hand I would not have dined there. My fault for not checking their menu prices ahead of time. With Dineout restaurants have a choice to pick a certain price point for a 3 course meal. With that in mind the reason for Dineout is to allow more people the opportunity to try new establishments at a DISCOUNTED price!! When I got home I looked at all the prices on their menu and realized I could have gone on any day and had all three of the same items for the EXACT same price of 49.00 dollars.More

Mom and I went for dinner to celebrate her birthday. We opted for the three course option. She is vegetarian and I am vegan. We Both had the most exquisite meal ever! I had the mushrooms to start and she opted for the cauliflower; we...both had the harvest as main and she had the fig creme brûlée and I the peach sorbet (best sorbet I’ve ever tasted!!!) for the quality the value can’t be beat. Can’t wait to return!!More

We had brunch and dinner here on two different days. All the meals we had were bursting with flavour and were made with regional and seasonal ingredients (lentils, celeriac, leeks, seaweed,... what you'd expect to eat in winter) so even if you're not vegetarian or...vegan, I guess you won't miss meat or dairy in your meal at all. Some highlight: lentil pate + chickpea crackers, chili-glazed celeriac + celeriac remulade (dairy free), chickpea + squash brunch stew Service was attentive, knew what to recommend and how to pair food with wine. The only flaw I was able to find was that they were not able to accomodate a child, so no extra meals for little finicky eaters, but then again, very few fine-dining restaurants areMore

This was one of the best brunches iv had in Vancouver. It was kinda fancy, so probably wouldn't go all the time, but it's great for a Brunch Date! The food was amazing and presented so well! I had the pancakes and they were so...SO good! My only issue was the plate they came on was textured and it felt like nails on a chalk board which instantly made me want to throw up! But I got a side plate and it was all good, next time I'll ask for a glossy plate!More

The best vegetarian restaurant m Vancouver, in my opinion, Acorn continues to produce beautiful high quality food. Due to its popularity, arriving early is a must if you want to be seated immediately. So many choices, but I ended up with the seasonal Beggar’s Banquet...- potato and leek pierogi served in borscht with sauerkraut, golden beets and almond sour cream. The husband had onomiyaki (Japanese omelette) and our third party had the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of eggs. Service is friendly and attentive. The food is inventive, colourful and flavourful. Must return!More

The food was excellent! Really impressed! Creative menu and well executed with a good wine list. While service was surgical, it was cold as ice. Great meal but don’t expect anyone to be friendly. Watch out if you have a nut allergy, they do not...modify dishes. They should however modify how they deliver that information. Like I said, frosty...🥶More
