Izakaya is Japanese pub tapas, and this place delivers excellent bites and a variety of high-end sakes in a fun, funky environment. The food was terrific, the sake smooth, and the staff friendly (and hot). Highly recommended!

Coming to Hapa on a Friday night, the music was very loud and the place was buzzing with party mood. Definitely not a place for a quiet night out, and a lot bigger and rowdier than more classic izakayas I've been to before. Service was fast and friendly, cocktails were terrific, and the food very good. The most memorable dish... More

We tried to get a reservation at Miku but there were only late tables available so we tried HICH. Although more casual than wanted the food was delicious and the salad was the best. The music was loud as some of the other guests but I'd go back for the food. For me it's more of a busy lunch choice... More

Broad menu offering amazing Japanese cuisine. Sushi is fresh. The hot stone bowls are packed with flavour and are perfect for sharing.

One of my colleagues suggested this place. I visited this restaurant with a friend of mine. The food was excellent... The waiting time would be more, especially on weekends. Hence, reserve table in advance. Fantastic place indeed!

I recommend the sake sangria to drink! Really good! Excellent food, sushis are delicious! In my perspective, kitchen closes early. We went on a Thursday and kitchen closed at 9:30.

Went for dinner, as my mom was in town. Food was excellent, however we were struggling with menu. Waitress did not explain the menu and did not give any recommendations. For water refill, server was about to pour in my beer glass, hahahaha, hilarious. Maybe it was too dark for her in dining room , I do not know!

The food here is awesome, fresh and delicious. The service was really good, very attentive. It's pretty loud though, they have the music pumping so we had to repeat things or shout them to one another, but it felt like a lively atmosphere. One of my favourites!

We came up from Seattle to experience Hapa Izakaya's Japanese fare. We were searching for a classy "hipster" Asian restaurant, we came across Hapa Izakaya. and made reservations a week prior. The food was very fresh, excellently prepared and presented, we tried as many dishes as we can consume at a single sitting. Service was great, especially when the owner,... More
