Extremely offensive staff. The way they speak to customers is absolutely unacceptable. The staff member at the door was very young, poorly dressed and extremely unprofessional. Behaving very strangely as we arrived. He was possibly high on cocaine. Very aggressive and not really helpful in...More

My daughter and I thought we would give this place a try and sure glad we did! Friendly staff greeted us and offered suggestions from the menu. I had the grilled cheese sandwich, which I added ham and tomatoes for extra toppings. I chose the...More

No frills, unpretentious pub diner serving good pub style food, choice of different ales and playing good music. A change from some of the better known locations in Gastown. And much preferred to be fair. Well worth a visit.

We headed into Black Frog after our ForbiddenVancouver Prohibition Tour. Good food, atmosphere & service. A decent amount of Vegan options to satisfy our famished tastebuds!

This leans to the sports bar side with all sorts of décor for some of not only Canada's but England's best teams. Being such it can be noisy, but that's part of the atmosphere. Bar is fully stocked and lunch menu was somewhat limited but...More

My husband and I ate here after a long day of site seeing in Vancouver. We tried a few other pubs but they had very long waiting lists (>1 hour). The atmosphere at the Black Frog was lively and the food was great. They made...More

I say that as we watched a play off game here and it was packed with Oiler fans and former Edmontonians. Great drink specials that last all night vs. happy hour. Typical bar food fare but it is fun and has great atmosphere.

Rude staff majoring in eye-rolling sent a message to others that unless you are able to drink with your meal, you should be elsewhere. Server and host were very rude!

I didn't have drinks while I was here but I did have the pierogies. They were not as good as others I have had in the past but I still really liked them. It was enough to fill me up. The service was pretty good...More

Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of
