This is a great spot to go pre game,, or anytime for that matter, Service is impeccable, the menu is very good, and lots of tasty choices... Some new renovations makes it even more comfortable. Happy Hour $5.00 wine is a great choice,, as well as Heineken Beer. I always make a point of going to Frankie's when visiting downtown... More

First time visit, we sat in the jazz bar and had a wonderful time! They do ask you to be quiet, so it affects hanging out as a crowd/friends - some couples around us were not impressed - but the music is so loud, you either have to yell, or say nothing. Might be good for a date, less so... More

Entertained by Gabriel Hasselback, Alita Duprey, another female singer, and three other players...great service, delicious food (salad, lamb, pasta, sorbetto, tiramisu, olives in truffle oil, bread with olive oil & balsamic), FUN!

Great place before or after a show at the QET. Terrific service and very tasty dishes: meatballs, prawn & crab raviolo, lamb shank & shrimp scampi tagliatelle. Fantastic just sorry we were too full for dessert. Next time ...

Pro: Restaurant is spacious and tastefully decorated. Cons: - minestrone soup had so much zucchini that it should have been called zucchini soup. - Lasagna was overcooked and really salty. I did not finish it. - Service was OK but no inquiry about why I picked out a pile of zucchini, why I did not finish the lasagna or whether... More

We started with the antipasto followed by a pair of seafood linguini.......dessert was the tiramisu. Our dinner arrived promptly and the service prompt but not intrusive. Parking was a challenge and I can imagine it would be a nightmare when there's games at BC Place and Rogers Arena

Frankie's Jazz club is adjacent to the restaurant and serves the same food. We had an excellent "homestyle" Italian dinner (great gnocchi). Service was very good. But most important, the music was superb. And as advertised, the clientele are there to listen. No idle table chatter. A wonderful evening and our new favorite spot in Vancouver.

Based on reviews I had high expectations. First I called for reservations and was told I didn't need one, just come on in. We came at the time I requested and was told they only had seats at the bar....ok, I can live with that. Then I proceeded to order a bottle of wine, and the first eight (yes, eight)... More
