Santouka has a great rich broth and excellent portion sizes. If you're hungry, grab one of the set meals (ramen + rice) and you're guaranteed to be full. Shio or miso ramen are my personal favourites and recommendations. Service is quick and friendly and the shop is also clean and tidy. If you're a tourist/have free time, I suggest going... More

Don't let the line up scare you away because it doesn't take long. Once you're in, the service is quick. Your ramen arrives fresh and the soup is hot and delicious. Santouka in Hong Kong is no where near as good as this one in Vancouver.

Wow, I've had ramen in plenty of places, but this was by far the best. I had the Char Su Ramen (Shio style), and it was absolutely perfect. Delicious broth with many layers of flavor, tender pork that was tasty and not salty, noodles that had a wonderful flavor and texture. My friend had a combination with the regular ramen... More

This place has the best Ramen I have had. The gyoza were good as well. Definitely keeps it simple but good.

I am a little disappointed as I expected a little more but the soup is pretty good with a little spicy. The gyoza is average. Overall no wow factor but it is a good meal.

It's not bad and staff are friendly. But the taste is average. The soup could be richer and the meat could be softer.

I was impressed when I saw the line-up at the door...but a little disappointed of the taste of the soup...it's very "pork" tasty!! Don't go there if you are vegetarian !!

Best Ramen besides Japan El Dente with Miso base with the best pork slices. Super moist, on the menu it's the Special number 14 on the menu or 15 for spicy, must try this. Put pork jowl into bowl so soup can heat up pork, as I don't like cold meat. Also you can add pot stickers. Go before lunch... More

I love this place! The shio is so rich and delicious. Get the toroniku if it isn't sold out and you'll be treated to some melt in your mouth pork jowl. I don't care if this place is a chain, they make a great ramen. The gyoza are pretty good, but you're going to be coming back again and again... More

Ramen lovers would love this place. We liked it so much we ate here twice in our short trip to Vancouver. We queued a while before getting in but it was well worth the wait.
