Not so long ago this was the best rated place to have lunch or dinner in Canada . Still No 1 in Vancouver I'm told. Although has slipped to No 3 overall . A little expensive on the pocket , all the same so many staff go that extra mile to make a romantic evening special . Folks it's a... More

I took my wife here for her birthday and we were not disappointed. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. This is not an inexpensive place to go for dinner but when you want to treat yourself, this is the place.

I enjoyed a very good meal here while visiting Vancouver last week. The service was excellent and the lamb loin was cooked exactly as requested. They offer a variety of drinks that should meet anyone's expectation.

This was the best dinner I've ever had. We did the tasting menu with all the add ons. Service was impeccable. Food was complex and very refined. Very creative use of ingredients. Must have: the foie gras addition to the squab.

I enjoyed my meal at Hawksworth, although I found it to be pricey for the offerings. I ate the lamb loin, which was perfectly prepared but not "over the top". Oysters were fresh and enjoyable. A vintage pino noir unique to the hotel finished my meal. I did not try dessert.

We've been for dinner in the past, which was always nice but never perfect. Recently we went here for brunch and while it's a nice room to relax in, the food really disappointed. Everything on all plates was barely warm, and the pot of baked beans served with the full English breakfast were ice cold! Steak and eggs were underwhelming,... More

Sadly this meal was entirely unmemorable. The setting is nice, the service was excellent, but the food was uninspiring and every course was just lacking something. Would have loved for it to be better, as I think it could be.

My teenaged son and I visited Hawksworth, this time before a Vancouver Canucks game, with an early reservation on a Friday at 5pm. Most people at that time were dressed very casually in jeans and sweatshirts, with some in fancier clothing coming off work or for a date night. Reservations were easy to get booked on OpenTable the night before.... More

The setting is pretty interesting, when you walk in it's definitely an impressive room, being situated in a beautiful hotel downtown I expected no less. The Service: Professional, attentive and considerate. The Food: The squid appetizer was among the top dishes I've had anywhere. The spice level was elevated but still maintained a very complex and deep level of flavor.... More

This place is lovely inside, decor stylish, excellent service. The food however I just expected more. It was was good but I expected exceptional. Maybe I have been spoilt with European, Michelin star restaurants, even then I've eaten at non starred restaurants in the U.K. and didn't think that the Hawksworth was on the same level. I had a soup... More
