Miku was top of my list of restaurants to try in Vancouver and did not disappoint. I may have to return to Vancouver mainly for the purpose of eating at Miku (and I've talked to others who feel the same way). I had a tasting plate of different aburi sushi pieces, and everything was delicious, but the much raved-about salmon... More

Absolutely delicious! Try the seared sushi. Japanese beer on tap is perfect for chugging it down. Great wine list.

Normal downtown Vancouver restaurant. Quite busy, but beautiful, with exceptional service. I don't want to say the food was bad, but not traditional sushi at all. If you want true sushi I'd highly suggest another restaurant. Wouldn't return. A basic tourist restaurant.

This place has it all, good food, good service, creative cocktails, in a fantastic location right on the harbor. I ordered a tofu salad which was great, but the real winner was the sushi, I ordered the signature selection sushi sampler it come with 10 pieces of nigri and rolls. It was all delicious. However it's important to save room... More

I’ve eaten here a number of times and it never disappoints. The food, service, view and atmosphere will wow you! More pricey for sure and reservations recommended but worth the cost. It’s a special occasion go-to. Enjoy!

We have visited Miku every time we come to Vancouver, but I've never written a review. I guess it's about time! This is absolutely the most unique sushi I've ever tasted. We absolutely love the ebi oshi and salmon oshi sushi. It is absolutely addictive! And not to even mention the BEST ebi mayo (prawn tempura) you will ever have!... More

I never ever had such amazing sashimi and sushi experience. We shared a Miku waterfront platter which was just amazing, fresh and so much more. Just crazy perfect!

I had a hard time deciding between 3 or 4 stars for this restaurant. Overall experience was good, but lacked the authenticity of a real Japanese restaurant. The place was enormous and busy. Nice view overlooking the harbor. While the food was fresh, that would be a basic requirement for any restaurant serving seafood in Vancouver. I had emailed the... More

We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly to sushi enhances the natural flavours and textures of the fish, creating a new and exciting culinary experience. Miku owner Seigo Nakamura innovated the Aburi concept by crafting specialty sauces using non-traditional Japanese ingredients to pair with each type of fish. The light sear from the binchotan (Japanese bamboo charcoal) caramelizes the sauce, releasing a smoky aroma and bringing out the finest flavours in each piece of Aburi sushi.

Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Fly Over Canada, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus.
