NOT HAVE AGAIN: after waiting in a very slow line for 25 minutes and getting almost to the front, we were told the wait for food after ordering was 40 minutes! We had to go elsewhere and then had no time for the public Market....More

Simple friendly place serving fresh fish outdoors at the water side. I enjoyed the grilled salmon sandwich and a tacone - after standing in the sun waiting for 30 minutes I didn't feel like anything battered and fried. It's a nice enough lunch but you...More

I had reports that this restaurant served good food. They were out of halibut, so I ordered a two piece cod fish and chips. They may as well have been out of cod, as i had way more greasy bubbly batter that fish. It was...More

This is our favourite fish and chip spot! It is right beside the docks near Granville Island, and uses fresh fish only. The batter is nice and light, and the coleslaw is yummy. You can also get delicious grilled fish. The line is always long,...More

The line was long, the view of Vancouver spectacular while we waited for the crispiest, most tasty halibut fish & chips. We had a two piece order which we shared. They offered us a second plate for sharing. The kitchen staff was hustling the whole...More

Love this little place on the seawall near Granville Island. Awesome fresh fish and chips takes a little while to prepare and that's why you might have to wait a few minutes for your food. Very reasonably priced and perfect for a quick scenic meal!

Go Fish is a very casual outdoor diner that operates out of a converted shipping container in the National Harbours Board parking lot. On a nice day it just doesn't get any better. The food is always good whatever the weather but when you add...More

I've eaten lunch here so many times I've lost count, rain or shine. Get a double fish order and eat it in your car in inclement weather or if it's nice out there are about ten tables and a two sided counter top with stools...More

The best fish and chips I have found on 3 continents! Crispy fries; fresh, moist fish which is not too oily (as it can be). Outdoor seating only. Generous portions. Line-ups at lunch time all year except rainy days, very busy throughout the day in...More

I'm local and eat here about three times a year. I'd eat here more if fish and chips were health food! The main reason I come here is for the fresh salmon served in various ways such as tacos or battered fish. The quantities are...More

Concerned that too many reviews gave it a poor service rating; I am taking family members tomorrow at 5 pm and will be mindful of this comment. Hope the manager reads this as my review will appear on TripAdvisor by Friday morning. At least you got a warning - cheers! GREGOR CAMPBELL VICTORIA, BC

WOW! I am surprised to hear that the service was rated as poor. I have only been three times but I live here and it's absolutely great food. It's basically a take-out wagon and they have a 45-60 minute line-up at peak times... More
