Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a hidden gem! House made cured meats, BC and imported 5* cheeses and lots of local specialties that you won’t find anywhere else. This cheese shop definitely rivals anything you’ll find in a big city for choice and quality. Friendly service. They make platters...if you want a take away for a group. Really good spot.More

In search for a meal to eat in, we came upon Picnic ~ great find. The guy was very helpful explaining what they had to offer. We bought a frozen lasagna that was delicious. Also picked up an orange walnut sausage that was very tasty....Would recommend picking up food here if you’re looking to eat in during your stay in TofinoMore

Picnic Charcuterie is an absolute must-visit while in Tofino. We ordered one of the picnic boxes to-go from Michelle and it was the best charcuterie we've ever had, and such an amazing experience to take beach side! Quality of the ingredients, customer service, value -...perfect scores across the board. Don't miss it!More

Excellent selection of cured/smoked meats made in house and cheeses curated from Canada and around the world! Staff were very helpful and put together a package for me to bring home and share. Really cool setting, will definitely be back again.

What a fantastic find ... Great quality house-made smoked meats, spreads (tapenade, etc) and frozen meals. Anything you could need for a fancy picnic or light DIY supper while on vacation. The frozen soups are amazing & lend themselves well to microwave warming. Pair with...bread from Summit Bread Co and you could not ask for more. Well worth the splurge!More

We stopped to pick up supplies for a picnic on the beach. Great selection of tasty cheeses. Perhaps just a little spendy.

I pre ordered a charcuterie platter online, for pickup for 4 people at a $15 per person price point. Upon pick up each item on it was explained to me, and at the time it seemed small for the cost. Upon digging in however to...our surprise and enjoyment we didn’t even finish it all! Each of the cheeses and meats were of high quality and great flavours. Well worth the cost ! Will definitely be back next time we are in the area! Highly recommend this quaint shop if your into snack platters, Meat’s cheeses and sandwiches. There is also jellies spreads and other merchandise for sale to add to your meals.More

Stopped in to purchase a few items to enjoy on the road. Very nice selection of cheeses, meats, etc. They offered some plates already assembled or you can choose what you want along with how much. Great, friendly service, too.

Had visited Industrial Way for the brewery/distillery & then noticed the picnic charcuterie over the road. It’s a great little store with some local island cheeses and a good selection of international cheeses plus meats and salamis. We tried some of the local cheese and...salami and both were excellent. They also had ready made baguette sections for lunch to go which looked good but we didn’t try as we already had provisions for the day. A great find and well worth the visit!More
