We went here Friday night at 515 PM and beat the rush. Hubby had clam chowder and fish and chip special and thought it was awesome, lots of food and good flavor for excellent value. I had the mushroom/ Swiss burger without the bun and with extra salad and found the burger bland and the salad tasted like the Costco... More

Good family pub. Mediocre food; but that is not the purpose of this restaurant. The Alpine Pub reminded me very much of the typical British pub. This is a place where people can go to relax, have a couple of drinks, and go home without having to venture 15 minutes down into Prince George proper. The service was very good.... More

Proprietors of a local B&B directed us to Alpine for dinner after a long day's drive. We walked over, enjoying the neighborhood and the fresh air, then were served delicious pub fare. We arrived at 5:00 and by 6:00 the place was full of locals playing pool, laughing and enjoying the game on the several TV's. Service was congenial and... More

After a long drive through the country, we stopped at a bed & breakfast, hopped back in the car and drove two blocks to this friendly pub for some supper. My husband and I both ordered hefty salads. Mine was a steak salad and was absolutely wonderful. I wish there were homey, friendly pubs like this in our neighborhoods in... More

My go to restaurant in town when needing a trustworthy, top quality meal at a fair price. Why go to some sloppy fast food joint when a wonderful dining experience is waiting for you at a place like the Alpine? :)

This was not my first visit and that first food experience there was bad (schnitzel) but this time was horrendous, especially on Mother's Day! I had the blackened salmon burger which was ruined by being so overdone & dry and my fries were served limp...ick!. Can't you tell by looking that the fries are laying helplessly in the fetal position... More

Love the wings. Ask for extra hot, the hot is just not hot for my taste. Had the Potato skins as well. All in all a very good place to Eat and meet friends. Clean, friendly, what more can you say.

The Alpine pub is a nice place to go for lunch . The meals are quite large so if you are not a big eater you might want to share .
