Service, food and portion size are great! Beautiful big windows open during the summer. Lovely downtown Nanaimo restaurant.

We almost walked out, but just in time the young Thai server arrived with water and menus. The food is Thai for Canadian palates, and a little expensive. The medium sized soup I ordered was $11.00 and not more substantial than a Pho from a Vietnamese restaurant that might be half the price. The location is spectacular, near the harbour... More

We had a few friends from Alberta come so we took them here. The food was delicious.I had the pad Thai and it was to die for.It was fresh and a good portion size. We had assorted dishes and everyone seemed happy with the food. The waitress was great;very attentive and kind. We were celebrating some birthdays so we spent a... More

Close to the Port Theatre and on the main drag of Nanaimo makes it a convenient early dinner stop. Fairly authentic Thai food -- spicy medium was too mild, but hot was just right. Nice Thai noodles. Good large servings. We will return

Great Thai with just the right level of spice if you like it hot, but not just hot also flavorful. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired, but the food is very good.

I have always enjoyed the food, staff, and atmosphere at Sukkho Thai. On this occasion I had lunch with a friend. I ordered the Tofu and Vegetables Red Curry Lunch Special, which includes soup, spring rolls, curry, and rice. I consider it to be one of the best lunch specials in town. They are happy to accommodate vegans by eliminating... More

Great value provided. Lunch combo reasonably priced and came with soup starter, salad and spring rolls with the meal. Food was very good, a tiny bit too much oil on my Pad Thai left a greasy plate but the flavours were excellent. Also wait time was a bit longer than expected. Overall, I would recommend coming here if you enjoy... More

Food is excellent and we really enjoyed. Haven't been there in their dining area though, didn't know it existed and it looks awesome.

I usually go to Sukkho Thai for lunch. Great setting right across from Diana Krall Plaza on Commercial St. The specials all include a spring roll, salad and miso soup. I usually go for the red or green curry. Never been let down.

I was here a few years ago and loved it which is why I went back but this time it was quite different. The food was fairly good but what I found surprising was the service. Our server didn't engage at all with us, wasn't overly interested in taking our order or even bringing us a drink. I won't be... More
