Had my first meal here with a friend. High expectations on the seafood but disappointed the deep fried salmon was pale & bland. Cod was nice & the fries great. Coleslaw was a very small amount of sliced cabbage with strange tasting dressing. The big shock was when the bill came & it was $50 for lunch. Could have gone... More

The last time I was at Codfather's was about 15 years ago and I had the pan fried oysters, they were awesome and I have never forgotten them. Well, my husband and I stopped for lunch and were a little taken away with the prices, but, fresh seafood is not cheap. So, I ordered the oyster (one) and chips with... More

I had the clams, mussels and chorizo add liked it alot, wifey had fish tacos and we split a Cesear salad. Arrived just before closing and the owner/chef was gracious and welcoming. It is a bit out the way for tourists but worth the short drive. The restaurant is part of a seafood market and the look is not impressive... More

The service at this establishment was very good, very personable and professional. I had ordered the Salmon BLT with Iced Tea to drink. The salmon was well cooked and tasted great. We had our children with us as well and this place was well suited for them also. The restaurant was very clean, as well as the washroom facilities. We... More

$13.50 got me two tiny oysters, a fistful of mediocre fries and a spit of coleslaw that we had to remind the server to bring us. I estimate the profit margin as about $10. No wonder its a ripoff of the godfather name.

We grabbed some fish and scallops to cook while camping near Vernon. The fresh scallops were super fresh and delicious. We got rockfish, which was very tasty, but maybe not trimmed as carefully as our usual fish store back home. I had to spend plenty of time taking out bones and trimming out the nasty stuff. Still...we very much enjoyed... More

What an amazing little gem this turned out to be! Ross the owner took the time to explain things like slow fishing and sustainability. This seafood market and resteraunt was very clean and what a selection! I think we enjoyed the best mussels and fish and chips we have ever had! They were not yet licenced, but it was in... More

We loved coming here the first time, we had the clam chowder, the pouting and a salad. We had an amazing server, who turned out to be the owner. We were created immediately and he accommodated a table for us in less than 5 minutes, it was noon time, so this place was packed, but yet it was the best... More

Thank you for taking your time for this review. While it is certainly disheartening to hear of your lacklustre experience your second time in, I do apprecite hearing it. I do know that the experience you had is not what is in anyway typical of my cafe, and I am sorry that we did not live up to the expectations.... More
