Family run place downtown. Dark and old school. No pretense. Popular with locals. Spaghetti alio a aglio was nicely prepared. I added some Italian sausage added. The fettuccine was excellent. Tasty garlic bread. Friendly service
This is authentic Italian and worth trying out. Good fresh food and good service, I had canaloni and it was excellent. Can't go wrong eating here if you like Italian.
We have never had a bad experience here. I prefer the pasta over the pizza, but both are good. Our kids love it.
Good thing the antipasto plate was OK cause the Spinach and Ricotta filled Mannicotta was not worth eating. Filling was mushy and flavourless, drowned in a tinned tomato sauce covering dried out mozzarella. Friends 2 meatballs arrived after she finished eating, Meatball OK.
The food was plentiful and reasonably priced, but not what I would expect from an "Italian" restaurant. Reminded me of Heinz spaghetti. Service was okay. Wine list very limited.
