We were in search of a good Breakfast Buffet in Red Deer and decided to try this restraunt out. All I'm going to say is that this is the one breakfast buffet that you won't finish your first plate and will most definitely won't get up for seconds.... And that's NOT because your full!

Travelled here in May and ate at the Botanica Gardens. Returned in August and there is a new restaurant called Westwood (or something like that). New restaurant serves Indian food and some Canadian food. I had a burger that was delicious, and some sweet potatoe fries. Menu was laid out odd, and had 2 listings of appetizers.

We've been here three times in the past year and were thoroughly disappointed each time. We came back this time because the waitress said things will be different when they finish the renovations in the kitchen. But things have not changed. They have only had a single waitress each time and the service was painfully slow even though the place... More

We travelled to Red Deer in winter 2016 for a get-away. Roads were icy in places. We stayed at the Baymont Inn and Suites (AKA of former name Red Deer Lodge), where the Botanica Garden Restaurant is located. We stayed 2 nights and ate two free breakfast buffets, 2 lunches and 2 suppers there. We had the free buffet breakfast... More

I always choose this place for lunch because 1. Great food (love the salad bar choices). 2. Central location. 3. Lots of parking. 4. The staff provide great service (especially want to mention Kay). I love to come with family and friends but also one of the only places in Red Deer that I feel comfortable while dining solo.

The food is very good and the staff very attentive. Their buffets are awesome and worth it. Certainly worth a look!

When we went I was in a bit of a hurry because I needed to be some where. Service was slow, even if you weren't in a hurry. The people were very friendly though, and the food was decent.

I used to love going to this hotel and eating eating their buffet. I will not return. Understaffed, cold food, and run down. Hopefully, the new owners bring some life back to this once loved jewel in Red Deer.

First let me say that I am not a person that typically complains, but after our terrible experience at Botanica Garden Restaurant on February 6, 2016 I simply could not let it go. I have attempted to contact management on two separate occasions, but they could not be bothered to reply to my concerns. Apparently they do not know the... More
