From the biscuits and jalapeño jelly to the PO Boy sandwich and sweet potato fries, you won't find any better in Edmonton. I have been visiting for over 15 years and it never fails to deliver the best food and service.

The food isn't terrible by any means but I really don't know why people rave about this restaurant. Everything is just very average.

Cosy atmosphere, spicy food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and great decor - what could be better for a causal dinner out?

The place is nice (hipsterish). The drinks are good. The staff is friendly. But the food itself is nothing amazing. I think it's way overrated

Our dining experience at DaDeO was more than expected from service to food. The jalapeno jelly that is served with the buttermilk biscuits was mouthwatering. Main courses were full of taste and just enough heat to enjoy every bite. The overall atmosphere was casual including the staff who added a little fun to our evening. Nothing lacking in the way... This is such a mixed review - one one hand the food was spectacular with not a single complaint in that area. On the other hand, the service was downright offensive. If a customer says they have an mild allergy, that should be respected by the server, not questioned (three times!) with statements like 'so it's ok in the spice... More

So. Awesome. Think 50s diner. Now, add really trippy lighting, eclectic wall decor and a very non-traditional diner menu. Nothing but classic New Orleans meals. The food is delicious and the staff is absolutely excellent. My waiter was so attentive while having to take care of many more tables than just mine. He even made recommendations (knowing, probably by the... More

The place looks and feel like a diner - has great music and interesting staff. The menu looked good too but it disappointed. We had two kinds of oysters to start - the deep fried ones were good, the raw ones were not (pieces of shells in each shucked oyster, they were drained!! of their fluids and not super fresh).... A unique dining experience serving Cajun and Creole cuisine. The sweet potato fries come highly recommended.
