Friendly service as always. Quick to bring drinks and condiments. Food came up in a timely manner and was as good as it always is. Reasonable for breakfast prices. I enjoy this place often. Only downside is the neighborhood.

Went for lunch today , last time I was in this place was in the 60s, service was great, got a waitress that was here since 1978. She recommended the liver and onions which I enjoyed very much. Home style cooking and menu. I would return if back in this part of town.

This family restaurant is a bit "tired" ... a little shabby .... but the food is so good - lots of it and at a great price. It is an old style restaurant with all the old favourites like liver and onions, shaved beef and cheese sandwiches, even a Balogna sandwich if you want nostalgia. The service is prompt and... More

Had to wait far too long for service; ordered coffee and took forever to arrive it was luke warm; bacon overdone; my pancakes were hot and the scrambled eggs ok; my husband said his meal was ok but nothing special; the main reason for not returning was the unfriendly waitress, slow service, lousy coffee and very average food; not worth... When I was in Edmonton, last summer, I decided to try this restaurant out! Considering the location, it was/is one of the better ones in the area. The food was good, and plentiful, also priced reasonably. I would go back there when I move back to Edmonton.

Jaybees restaurant served me the most disgusting breakfast I have ever eaten. I ordered eggs benedict. The ham was square ziggy's brand, the kind single welfare moms make their kids' lunch with, and the hollandaise sauce was instant powdered, with a very strong chemical taste. It was priced at what I would expect a good eggs benedict to be priced... More

I have been a customer of JB's for over 6 years. Today, my husband and I went for breakfast. Our hashbrowns were raw. I waited and waited for the waitress to come by our table so that I could let her know that part of my breakfast was raw. When she finally arrived 20 minutes later, she immediately started to... They have a good selection of breakfast items and the food is very tasty. The decor is a bit run down with some duct tape holding some seats together but overall a decent, diner ambiance. Only issue was the service wasn't stellar. Staff wasn't unfriendly exactly but not what I'd describe as friendly. They didn't come back at any point... More

My husband and \I went for breakfast yesterday morning. The place had a few patrons in it at the time. We sat ourselves and were greeted by a server who was pleasant enough, but had so much cologne on that it was overpowering and offensive. We browsed the menu and quickly picked what we wanted/. In the time that we... More

To get a decent meal, I went to Jay Bee's and had a really nice lunch at a reasonable price; the staff was cheerful and quick, even though, the day I went, things were a bit busy. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for home cooked meals at a reasonable price!
