I have been to this place many many times, the new building is laid out really well with the restaurant on one side and the store on the other. The only negative I could offer on this restaurant is the lack of atmosphere, it's all about serious Ukrainian food. The combo plates are a great choice to experience the home... More

Looking for a place for lunch last week, I noticed that the parking lot for Mundare Sausage + Uncle Ed's Ukrainian Restaurant was full. I parked a block away and walked. Even at 1:00 PM, the wait for a table was about 15 minutes. I was not disappointed. The appearance and smells of the lunch plates being served reminded me... More

My family went there for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was awesome and great value for your money. Then we went over to the Mundare sausage House (in same building) to buy some of the goodies to take home for another day

Food here is EXCELLENT you need to come in early it's super busy at mealtimes. Costs were reasonable and everything homemade and cooked exactly as asked. Marie our server knew who we were celebrating and was amazed we chose to come there. Supreme customer service and food. Eat here don't eat at mcdonalds

Stopped in to Uncle Ed's for a feed of perogies & kielbasa for a treat. We enjoyed two plates of delicious cheddar perogies with bacon bits, fried onions, kielbasa, a mountain of sauerkraut and copious amounts of sour cream. Needless to say if you want to eat good Ukrainian food, this is the place. Service is always friendly, they treat... More

Only drop by a couple times a year and that's a mistake. Food is so good and then you can pick up some extra at the deli to make a meal at home. only thing missing is the fresh thick farm cream.

Uncle Ed's is small restaurant that is part of a larger Ukrainian food store operation. It is run by the Stawnichy family into its 4th generation. Edmonton has a large Ukrainian population and this restaurant serves traditional Ukrainian dishes and some Western food as well. The restaurant is located in the same building that sells Ukrainian food, particularly in bulk.... More

Old time Edmontonian’s know this restaurant really well because its been around for years. It’s one of those special places that never changes. The menu today is pretty much the same as the day it opened. The menu foundation is Stawnichy’s famous garlic sausage and if you have never tried this you are missing something in life.
