I didn't need breakfast or lunch, just something to fill the gap, so I stopped in for coffee and scone at Lazy Loaf & Kettle. The place was filling up, and so you could tell it's a favoured spot for local residents and nearby workers. Although I didn't see any joggers, it's also not far from the wonderful Bow River... A group of us get together monthly to try new places. This is one of the most comfortable. Nothing flashy, you go to the counter to place your order and help yourself to coffee refills. The coffee is in nice mugs and is the best coffee I have had in restaurant for ages. The food is great and good prices,... More

I often like to stop here for a special blend tea and a dessert but the parking is getting crazy here. The desserts are stilll terrific but you had better not go at peak times as parking can be a problem. I dont know why its so busy with only a Chinese restaurant competing for spots.

We popped into this locate bakery for lunch. We ordered our food and waited for a table... it didn't take too long and we had a table for the 6 of us. The soup, sandwiches and deserts were delicious. The service was excellent well worth the wait. Kids welcome. The place was busy which is a sign of good food.... More

Had breakfast here this morning. I was quite impressed with the bakery display. The cinnamon rolls tasted awesome. I ordered eggs Benedict but was not impressed. It was very salty and the English muffin was hard. The hash were really greasy. I gave it a 4 rating as the atmosphere and the coffee drinks were excellent. I did not feel... More

An unique luncheon experience. Choose from a variety of freshly baked breads to have for your sandwich. Select from a menu of different items to have on your sandwich, such as spreads, meats, garnishes. Half or full sandwiches are offered and can be combined with your choice of soup from soups of the day. Place and pay for your order... More

The menu is big the food is fantastic and sometimes the place seems impossibly busy. If you want great food go where everyone goes but bring your patience with you. Have a cup of coffee and get your face out of your phone for a visit. Enjoy.

We went to this cafe on the recommendation of our Airbnb host. We liked it so much that we ate there two mornings in a row! It's obviously a local favourite as it was bustling with customers both times including a large contingent of runners & cyclists. The lattes were delicious & the omelettes excellent! You get to choose what... More

............holy crap how long does it take to make a few sandwiches, we honestly waited at least 30 mins for a takeaway sandwich which for me is totally unacceptable - we took it to a quiet spot and enjoyed it - it was ok at best, really wish we'd gone for pizza round the corner which is always excellent Rob

I went to this place with my friends for brunch. The place was busy but we were able to get a table right away. I ordered eggs benny and a coffee latte. They both were really good. The eggs benny came with hash brown and fresh fruits. My friends seemed to enjoy their food too. One of them ordered french... More
