Everyone raves about the burgers at Peter's Drive-in Calgary. Personally, they are not the best I have had and always feel like there is something missing flavour wise. You have a multitude of flavours for milkshakes and fries are pretty good but the burger falls flat. It used to be a cash only facility but now takes debit. It is... More

We stopped in for an early lunch in Red deer, the food was very good and the service was excellent. Bonus to going & 1030 am there was no line up.

I like the seasonings, big burger, small fries are plenty for 2 to share. And the variety of shakes flavor to choose from

I remember when the fries were served in a shoe box and the pattie and a half in the burger hung out side the bun. They aren't that big any more but they are still bigger than any other place. It is hard to decide between their rings or fries because you need a team to finish both, I wish... More

Very different drive in experience. If your going on a weekend I would advice parking and going to the windows to order as it gets crazy busy! Far quicker doing it that way then waiting in the long line of cars. Weather depending though, it is Calgary. Burgers were okay but very similar to McDonald's. Their portion sizes however are... A drive in that never disappoints. You can also walk up to the cashier to purchase your food (they have a decent sized parking lot for a drive in). It's a great sight to see all the employees busy working as it's always busy here. What an assembly line! The milkshakes are creamy, thick, and you can choose up to... More

This was once the best burger place in Calgary, people would come from far and wide, but now it's not good at all. There is always a line up, but not because it's busy, but because they are so slow. I waited in line for 20 minutes and there were only eight people in front of me, it was shocking.... More

An iconic standard in Calgary, that's true. Here's a few other things to note. When you order, go for burger (average), onion rings (great) and a shake (great). Do not order the fries. If you want a better food experience, go there when the lines are not long, such as practically any evening and weekends and especially holidays. Go to... More

Burgers are good. Fries are okay but the real reward for waiting in long lines is the ice cream and shakes. There is a reason the lines are sometimes long...
