The reason why I say this is a true HK style tea restaurant is because its staff give you minimal service and virtually no smile, you have to order quick, but the food is decent (except noodle soup). But that's ok because the staff are not unkind, it's just the way it is. Food is usually very tasty and served... More

Baked porkchop on rice in tomato sauce is their best kept secret. Same thing with fish filet in cream corn sauce. We can't go wrong for just $12-13, plus my wife could share a plate. Don't expect excellent service though, but it's good enough to get by.

Best place for baked rice? Could be here. If you disagree, let me know so I can try your suggestion.

You get great value for your money, the breakfast are around $6-7 each, order 2?. Your meal comes with coffee & tea. The sticky rice was very good & always a great sign when packed local people. Hard to get a table at 10am Sunday morning, another great sign. The meals are good & noodle breakfast was also good. 2... More

For some reason this restaurant is now named "Taste of Asia" on the store banner although the Chinese name remains the same and the management is the same. It's almost always crowded, so the best time to visit will be an hour before the regular meal times. For example, you should consider going there before 11:30am for lunch, and before... More

Yes, the service isn't the most friendly, but it's always fast. I'm always seated right away, and eating within 10 mins of ordering. My favs are the boneless curry chicken and rice or the seafood chow mien on hot plate. Careful though....I always burn my mouth because I want to dive right in the moment it gets to the table!... I've been here for breakfast and dinner. This a typical Hong Kong style "tea restaurant" that serves Cantonese food. This restaurant has been around for many years. They have lots of choices for breakfast, including congee, noodle soup, toast with eggs and ham/sausage, etc. Dinner also has lots of options, such as the typical fried noodles/rice, Hainan Chicken with rice,... I had planned to come eat lunch here, once I checked into the hotel. Luckily, they offer a tea time menu that started at 200PM. As dinner was at 600PM, I didnt want a big lunch. The restaurant was less than half full when we arrived, but it filled up by the time we were leaving at 300PM. I had... More
