I booked a table at Safari Grill through Open Table for 2 people. I was taking my friend to celebrate her promotion and I wanted it to be flavourful for her as she is a foodie! We booked the table for 7pm and as expected, we were warmly welcomed! We ordered the Serengeti Platter. We enjoyed every bite of it... More

Growing up I had quite a few Indo African friends & I loved their food; so we decided to give this place a try. We ordered the Serengeti Platter which was $26 so we can sample a variety of BBQ. The chicken was very dry and had too much colour in its spice mix to the point that my husband's... More

Just kidding of course, no Zebra on the menu but plenty of other stuff that I can't pronounce. This is my second time here and it is fantastic. Our server helped us decide on dishes for the 6 of us and we were full with food leftover. The butter chicken and chicken masala are excellent although fairly small portions and... More

We were very excited to try a new restaurant however we will not be going back any time soon. Our lunch took 45 minutes from time of order to get to the table, while 2 other tables were served before us. The excuse was the dish that I ordered - they were trying to time it so both dishes would... More

I have eaten here several times, and it is one of the best Indian food restaurants in Calgary. Its Korma dishes are the best Korma I have had in Calgary. The restaurant's founder or owner comes from the large East Indian community that was transplanted to East Africa during the colonial era (Kenya, Tanzania area) before eventually moving on to... What a terrific dinner! Everything was great. The spinach pakoras - delicious! The ribs and mogo - fantastic, as always. Dessert - great. Service - great. Try to come at least once per month.

Four of us had a tasty dinner. We shared the masala mogo (deep friend starchy cassava with tomatoes), the Forodhani platter with 1/2 chicken, ribs, and skewers of beef, chicken and prawns with rice; and an order of lamb chops, and for vegetables we had lentils, as well as a paneer dish. We ordered everything mild, but I think the... More

This place is great! It has a fun atmosphere, amazing food and friendly staff. Ever since it was introduced to me I now crave their ribs, they alone are worth the trip. I have been here numerous times and have never been disappointed.
