A Ladybug Bakery and Cafe brings European style dinning to Calgary in a buzzing, exciting, warm atmosphere. The food is expensive, but exquisite in every way and worth every penny because not only does everything here taste fresh, but almost all the ingredients are local and high-quality. There is something for everyone on the menu, be it sweet (I suggest... More

What a great variety of high quality healthy food and beverages. It's not cheap but I think most people that go back appreciate that quality does not come with McDonald's pricing. The pastry selection is amazing. Coffee and tea selection is also outstanding and prepared with care and pride. Great place to go for crepes, waffles and fancy quiche. My... More

Went for breakfast with my wife. You must order and pay first then they give you a stick with a number on it to put on the table you get. We ordered chocolate and strawberries waffles with coffees. Good quality, slightly pricey. In the middle of eating I asked the waiter I wanted another coffee. Said I have to talk... More

Ladybug offers high quality dine in breakfast and lunches. Their ingredients are locally sourced and mostly organic and free range meats. Great coffee and amazing pastries to dine in or take out for dessert. Prepare to wait for a table if you come on a weekend morning.

I met a friend here for lunch and was unpleasantly surprised that I was not allowed to have a seat unless I ordered and paid. I said I wasn't sure so the cashier suggested I buy a coffee. I didn't appreciate being treated this way. I found it really rude. My friend arrived and still wanted to stay, otherwise I... More

If you want a quality French pastry and a great cup of coffee to go with it you need to try this bakery/ Cafe. My only problem is that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays! A little on the pricey side, but not if you don't go there too often.

I come to ladybug on and off for brunches and lunches and the food is delicious and great. My only reservation is that the dishes are very expensive, and in my view overpriced. Crepes, seafood dishes, and quiches are delicious!
