I recently dined at The Bison and had such a great evening! The food was excellent, but what really made it an unforgettable experience for us was our fabulous server, she was French Canadian, I think her name was Frederick(?) Her knowledge of the menu...More

Of all the restaurants we ate at for dinner in Banff, The Bison was my favorite. Delicious and unique food with great atmosphere. Our server was very attentive and took the time to answer all of our questions. I would definitely recommended going!

Really enjoyed my recent three course dinner at the Bison. The food, local alcohol (gin and wines) and the service were all superb and enjoyed immensely. Not a cheap meal but well worth the investment!

Went there to enjoy a proper steakhouse, bison was good, same for all the food. Really surprising Apple tart. Very good and helpful service (nice advices on local beers and wines) and nice atmosphere.

Popular, friendly place. Essentially a steakhouse but offering modern style food. Part of the kitchen is in the restaurant so you can watch your food being prepared, which is a nice touch. Not all the flavour combinations worked for me though, and I go the...More

The Bison is definitely one to add to your list to visit. A little bit posh, and little bit (not) pretentious. The food was beautifully laid out. Being able to watch plates stacked and garnishes so carefully placed was a treat. Make sure to get...More
