Loved the singer, entertaining us all night. The dinner came very slow after the appetizers, we have to ask several times....

In this eastern part of Luberon, Chez Eric stands out for its great ambiance, the warmth of everyone working there (Eric included) and very good local food. Eric's previous career was a butcher, so go for one of the meat dishes and a to-die-for gratin that comes with it. Top it up with the local red from La Blaque just... More

Whilst in France we were taken by friends to Chez Eric. Sitting outside on a creaky balcony in a small mountain top village on a wonderful balmy summer evening has to be the most delightful of settings but unfortunately my food did not live up to the promise. My starter of courgette flower stuffed with Corsiscan cheese followed by a... More

We have come back to "Chez Eric"several times lately.Of course Montfuron remains Montfuron : the windmill, the cosy, sleepy little village with the large parking space. And so is Chez Eric-luckily so.The terrace and the inside dining room are of course unchanged and the same is true of the food :imaginative, prepared with a very professional touch, well presented and served up in a... We were staying with friends in Cereste when they took us to this little gem. Thoroughly recommended, great food and an excellent wine list.

I had a really nice dinner tonight with a wonderful steak and mushrooms with lots of gravy and vegetables. Afterwards I had a great cheeseplate and ice cream with cookies. It's the best restaurant in Montfouron and one of my favourites! Come here for a great dinner but book first as they can be very busy especially in summer. Enjoy... More

very pleasant meal on a summer evening when we had no pressure on time and the opportunity to enjoy the experience properly. Good wine, good food, good friends - don't need much more than that. A bottle of Banyuls went down well as a great dessert wine - normally don't both but this was exactly the right occasion. Menu was... More

If you travel in Provence in the Manosque area make a visit to the village Montfuron. Not only the village in itself which is situated on the Luberon mountain chain with its breathtaking view is worth a visit but a meal at "Chez Eric" is what makes the detour also a culinary experience of the highest degree. Eric you'll find... More

Since we stayed in a countryhouse in Montfuron, 10 kilometers from Manosque, we decided to have dinner here one Sunday evening. Luckily we had a table on the terrace and it was a lovely experience. We had a three-course dinner and were all very satisfied with everything. The chef even managed to create a fine vegan dinner for one of... More
