We stayed the night at The Inn and had a beautiful double room, very well equipped and decorated. We were made to feel very welcome and ate in the restaurant where the food and service were very impressive.

This was a lunchtime visit so the menu was somewhat limited compared to previous visits. Starters included chicken liver parfait served with toasted brioche and chutney which was smooth and pleasant. We did not want baguettes as we had driven a long way, so settled...More

Formerly a coaching Inn, The Inn at Grinshill today is an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary decor. The Inn's transformation began in 2001 when it was bought and over 18 months it went through a dramatic rebuild and restoration. Although many thought it overly ambitious, today, even much changed, The Inn at Grinshill evokes a sense of its own history. Above all else, we and our team work to ensure our guests enjoy the very best in hospitality. The Inn at Grinshill is a Grade 2 listed Georgian property, in a conservation area, located in the lee of Grinshill which is a site of special scientific interest and an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is a little train station in the next village which is a short stroll away, adding to the charm of this rural retreat.
