A nice local, family restaurant, run by husband and wife. Good food prepared by the husband chef, and served by the wife. Excellent service

Welcoming and charming, Il Frantoio is an authentic family experience specializing in local delicacies. The homemade 'orechetti' was delicious! Rachele is wonderful! Our time was too short, next time we will stay longer. Pietrapertosa is enchanting.

Coming up the twisty road the first parking area is right by this cafe, we needed a quick bite so called in, they only had panninis which were OK, not much choice and the drinks were half a glass rather than bottles/ cans. We also called for a cappuccino before leaving. I was disappointed that they allowed school kids to... More

A small family run restaurant. True Italian food at a very reasonable price. Friendly and clean. I just loved this village

We had lunch. It seemed more like a bar for locals to get slowly drunk, than a restaurant. We did not expect much. But we ate just perfectly cooked good food. And the owner/chef came out in the pouring rain to come and get us at the parking lot with an umbrella. Very strange place, but excellent service and food.

We ate here as it was the only restaurant in town open on a Monday night. We arrived prior to the restaurant actually opening and had a bottle of local wine to begin with while waiting. The wine was surprisingly good and very cheap! The dinner was not expensive but I felt portions were quite small eg the sausage dish... More

From the moment we arrived at this hotel/restaurant high up in the mountains, we were made to feel welcome by all who worked there. It is a real family run place where the food was delicious, the rooms spotlessly clean and the location amazing. Perfectly situated for "vollo d'angelo'. It was with regret that we had to leave to continue... More

We stayed here in May when I decided to do the Volo Dell'Angelo for my birthday. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the view from our room was spectacular. Service was excellent. They cooked me a special birthday dinner and dessert. Complimenti alla famiglia Perticara e grazie per la vostra ospitalità!

We were the only people staying here in early October. The host and his family were extremely warm and friendly. Food on offer is very simple but tasty in the main - we enjoyed the antipasti and home made breads and pastas. Extremely reasonable too. We stayed in a cosy room upstairs which was warm and welcoming and had an... More
