I've been coming here several times a year since childhood (over 40 years) and have never been disappointed. The food is superb - excellent, simple Romognolo cooking. The best tagliatelle around. The grigliate is superb too. Great venue all year round. Great to eat alfresco in the summer and the farmhouse is very simpatico in winter. Love it.

"La mama" is still the boss in this quiet restaurant mainly known by the locals. Located next to the golf of verucchio on the backside of the nice little village of verucchio. The place has a lot of small rooms where you sit to have one of the great pasta dishes or a good tagliata di manzo. The kitchen is... More

Can't get a better taste of the genuine romagnola cuisine. Pasta was hand made and oven worked with fragrant wood.

Excellent place to eat outside and enjoy classical cusine romagnole. Different predefined menus offer excellent value for money. Large portions and in particular the pasta was very appealing.

We had a delightful experience at this restaurant. We not only had fantastic food..... the soup and salad, wine and bread but had the grand tour of the kitchen which was a REAL treat as it was SO clean as was the bathroom. Our server could not have been more accommodating and pleasant. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if... More

This was the first restaurant to open within Tenuta Amalia. It was originally a 16th-century mill, with the millstones still visible today in the restaurant, and referred to in literature by Leone X.

Why Ro and Buni? They are the two oxen employed side by side in the plowing of the fields: Ro, red, of barbaric origins, on the left and Buni, italic, patient and sturdy on the right.

The menu includes a variety of cured meats, salads and pastas such as: cappelletti, tagliatelle, passatelli, strozzapreti, gnocchi and ravioli. Also, a selection of grilled meats, fegatini (a traditional liver dish), various cheeses including the traditional "squarcquerone", desserts and seasonal fruit. Naturally, all are accompanied by the great wines of Tenuta della Garisenda: Trebbiano, Sangiovese, and Albana.
