We came here for a special dinner on our recent visit to Puerto Aventuras. The owner greeted us and explained the menu, including the specials of the evening. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was truly romantic and special.

Amazing food and nice clean restaurant. Prepared fresh right when you order. Owner was helpful to explain types of fish and how it's prepared! Went back on our last night (two nights in a row) because it was so good. Definitely a treat if you're vacationing. Restaurant only takes cash, no credit or debit. Highly recommend!!

We stumbled upon Pelican Point while staying at Puerto Aventuras. It's THE BEST restaurant in the place. ( NOTE: They don't take credit cards.) From the outside it doesn't look much, but once you enter... the ambiance, the food quality and the service wins you over! We were greeted by whom I assume to be the owner of the place.... More

My boyfriend and I ate here at least 2 times during our stay at the crappy Dreams Resort in Puerto Aventuras. Love the food, love the staff. The owner is so caring and passion about this restaurant. Fresh fish caught each day, is served for dinner!!! The mahi mahi.... UNREAL!!! melt in your mouth. Table side cesar salad is excellent... More

In Puerto Aventuras there is no shortage of fun and funky restaurants. However, every so often it's really nice to go out for something a bit more upmarket in food quality, atmosphere and service level. Pelican Point is, in our opinion, the best place to do that within the Puerto Aventuras community. With a menu that could be described as... More

Live music, beautifully cooked food and lovely staff. The fish was excellent and reasonably priced for the freshness and quality, and the atmosphere was chilled and relaxing. They served complimentary bread to start and gave a pallet cleanser between meals. A lovely place to eat on holiday.

On a return visit to Pelican Point the restaurant continued to be one of the better spots in Puerto Aventuras. This is a slightly more upscale place than most in the village, but still with a relaxed, casual atmosphere. The owner and staff are enthusiastic about everything, making sure diners have the best experience. They will even prepare the day's... More

Although we knew this dinner will be expensive we were looking forward to an exquisite culinary experience. The place was nice and inviting but didn't feel very confortable due to the owner's arogance and superior looks. At first I thought it was just an impresion but that feeling didn't disappear throughout the night. The food was tasty but it doesn't... More

Great looking place, excellent service, the food was OK for the price. The table side Caesar was done well. It was a nice place to celebrate but I am not sure that the food was worth the extra money as other restaurants.

We were a group of nine people visiting for dinner in March 2016, and the experience were not good. The waiters were slow, they forgot what we had ordered, they brought stuff that were not ordered etc. The owner dropped by to give us todays special, and after five minutes he had made a summary of the menu as such.... Dockside alongside the local fishing boats we are fortunate to get first pickings of the best catches of each and every day. Outside Deck Terrace seating as well as inside. Open from 5pm. Open MONDAY through Sunday. Enchanting nautical theme. Good spot for any occasion. Fully stocked bar where you can stop by and have a drink (Martini, Manhatten, Margarita, Daquiris, Mai Tai, Pina Coladas, Beer, Smoothies or a variety of wines by the glass or bottle etc), and also enjoy the view!. A good choice when its hot, there is an air conditioned area. A good choice if its cold, there is heating to make it cozy and warm, a good choice if its raining as it is under a roof. For lovers of good food, a nice attention and romantic evenings, find Pelican Point next to Aventuras Club, Puerto Aventuras Marina. Closed SUNDAYS and for the months of September and october.
